Edition 2025 — Urban-Run Hamm
The Urban-Run series by Urban-Run GmbH Essen started experiential runs in various German cities in 2025, following the same concept planned for Hamm in 2026: routes through the city center, parks, and distinctive urban locations, individual and team registration, focus on discovery rather than pure competitive performance. Hamm will join the series for the first time in 2026, on the occasion of the city's 800th anniversary.
Before its premiere in Hamm, the Urban-Run series had already organized running events in several German cities, establishing the concept of experiential running through urban spaces. In 2026, the format will come to Hamm as a central sporting contribution to the 800th-anniversary celebration.
