The UNESCO World Heritage Day 2025 in Weimar was dedicated to the motto “World Heritage Connects”: Belvedere plant exchange, special guided tours of Goethe's and Schiller's houses, Haus Am Horn — a tradition celebrated nationwide every year on the first Sunday in June since 2005.

World Heritage Day 2025 — Review

On World Heritage Day 2025, the twelve Weimar World Heritage sites opened their doors on June 1 with special guided tours, the Belvedere plant exchange, and activities at Haus Am Horn. The ensemble “Classical Weimar” and the Bauhaus World Heritage once again complemented each other to create a dense day program.
