Overview
In 2025, Schwarzenberg also participated in UNESCO World Heritage Day, opening the Herrenhof Erlahammer to visitors. Tours of the special exhibition, guided hikes to the mining traces on the Rothen Berg, and discussions with World Heritage experts attracted interested visitors from across the Ore Mountains to the former iron hammer mill.
World Heritage Day 2025
In 2025, Schwarzenberg once again participated in the nationwide UNESCO World Heritage Day. The Herrenhof Erlahammer opened its doors, the special exhibition invited visitors to explore the history of the iron hammer mill, and guided hikes led to the above-ground mining traces on the Rothen Berg. The combination of the special exhibition, hike, and miner's bread made the day a truly special experience within the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Ore Mountains/Krušnohoří Mining Region.
