Edition 2025 — Ultraschall Berlin

The 27th edition of Ultraschall Berlin took place at the end of January 2025 as a five-day festival for contemporary music at Radialsystem, Haus des Rundfunks, and Heimathafen Neukölln. As every year, the two Berlin symphony orchestras (RSB and DSO) and Ensemble Mosaik were at the center of the program.

The 2025 edition followed the established concept: five days of programming between orchestral concerts in the major Berlin halls and smaller chamber music formats in the specialized venues. The concerts were subsequently broadcast on the participating radio programs — since 1999, Ultraschall Berlin has been one of the most reliable forums for contemporary music in Germany and shapes the discourse of the Berlin composers' and ensembles' scene.
