In 2025, the Altkünkendorf village church was again one of the regular venues for the Uckermark Music Weeks. International Early Music ensembles and chamber musicians presented concert evenings in the region's fieldstone churches — a series that makes Renaissance and Baroque music audible in one of Brandenburg's most beautiful cultural landscapes.
Music Weeks 2025 in Altkünkendorf — Retrospective
The Uckermark Music Weeks 2025 continued the long-standing program line: chamber music of the Renaissance and Baroque in the historic fieldstone churches of the Uckermark, supplemented by contemporary program points. Altkünkendorf was the venue for one of the well-attended concert evenings — the acoustics of the village church and the rural tranquility of the Schorfheide made the concert experience something far beyond the musical program.
