Overview

The 29th Tübingen Organ Summer took place in the summer of 2025 in the Collegiate Church of St. George. As every year, the festival began on Bach's death day (July 28), followed by six Saturday concerts by international organists, the Organ.6 series on Wednesdays, and the daily midday music at 12:15 PM. The festival presented a broad cross-section of European organ music.

29th Tübingen Organ Summer 2025

The 29th edition of the Tübingen Organ Summer took place from July 28 to early September 2025. Bach's death day, as always, marked the traditional opening — Jens Wollenschläger and guest organists from Germany and abroad opened the festival with the first major concert night.

Over five weeks, the 2025 festival offered seven Saturday concerts (each at 8 PM), five Organ.6 concerts on Wednesdays at 6 PM, a children's concert, and daily midday music at 12:15 PM in the Collegiate Church and on Saturdays at St. Johannes. The program ranged from Baroque masters through Romanticism to contemporary avant-garde and improvisation.
