In 2025, the city of Troisdorf once again invited to the association city festival Troisdorf Verein(t) in the city center. Hundreds of associations presented themselves along the pedestrian zone, the stage program featured choirs, dance, music, and carnival, and the association gastronomy served thousands of visitors — while the Sunday shopping revitalized local retail. The festival confirmed its status as an annual meeting point for Troisdorf's civil society.
The 2025 edition of Troisdorf Verein(t) confirmed the proven concept: association stands, hands-on activities, a stage program, and Sunday shopping transformed the city center into a platform for the civic engagement of the Rhein-Sieg city for one day. The volunteers were able to attract new members, visitors from all over the Rhein-Sieg district got to know the association life, and the retail sector benefited from the additional Sunday sales.
