Overview
The premiere of the Treibhaus Festival took place in 2025 at Zeche Carl – a new format for the Essen indie scene with a curated program and sustainable concept. The positive response led to its repeat in 2026.
The 2025 edition established the Treibhaus Festival as a curated one-day festival focusing on Indie, Post-Punk, and Pop Culture. The choice of Zeche Carl as the venue combined an industrial monument with modern music culture – a concept that the organizers will further develop in the second edition in 2026.
