Overview

In 2025, the final Solinger Kulturnacht took place, which had previously been the most important city cultural event for years. The format had to be discontinued due to insurance reasons — the new Trassenfest, held during the day, will take over its legacy from 2026.

The Solinger Kulturnacht was a nighttime downtown event with stages, galleries, and performance spaces. After insurance issues, it was held for the last time in 2025. The successor, starting in 2026, is the new daytime format Trassenfest on the Korkenziehertrasse — accessible, more safely organizable, and with a clear thematic structure.
