Trans Pride Festival – SO36 — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition of the Trans Pride Festival coincided with the second anniversary of the Workdatcxnt Collective. At SO36, BIPoC performers, queer and trans communities, allies, and a diverse Berlin audience gathered for an evening combining a Kiki Ball, anniversary celebration, and afterparty. The competition categories covered the usual spectrum: Runway for beginners and transmasculine, Realness, Vogue, Hands, Arms Control, and Open-to-All Dance Battles.

The edition was – as in 2024 – funded by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion. The festival thus confirmed its status as an important platform for visibility, empowerment, and artistic brilliance for transgender and BIPoC communities in Berlin. With its two years of existence, Workdatcxnt has established itself as one of the defining Berlin queer-trans grassroots platforms.
