The 32nd Thüringer Schäfertag in August 2025 continued the tradition of Thuringia's largest sheep farming gathering. At the Thüringer Freilichtmuseum Hohenfelden, shepherds, spinners, felt artists, and sheepdog handlers showcased their crafts against the unique historical backdrop of the museum village. Over 1,000 sheep of various breeds, a bustling market, and a diverse stage program characterized the day.
