Overview

The 2025 Castle Summer once again featured a consciously diverse season of classical music, sketch nights, tribute bands, and a cinematic traveling cinema in the Thierstein castle ruins. The 150-200 seats under the membrane roof made each concert a manageable, atmospheric experience.

As in previous years, the market town of Thierstein compiled the 2025 Castle Summer program in several phases: a classical opening in late spring, festival weeks in midsummer, and the season finale in September. Tickets were available through the town hall, the Dola local shop, and okticket.de; the season pass for all events cost €150.

The response remained consistently high – the Castle Summer is an established summer event in the Fichtelgebirge. Regional reporting (Bürgerbote, local daily press) provided detailed coverage of the season each year.
