The Sauce has established itself as a fixture in the Stuttgart food festival scene in recent years. The one-day chili festival at Im Wizemann once again attracted exhibitors from all over Germany and Europe in 2025, with tastings, raffles, and a well-attended crowd of heat-loving foodies defining the day.
Chili Community in Stuttgart
The 2025 preview edition followed the usual format at Im Wizemann, featuring numerous exhibitors, including established German hot sauce manufacturers and international brands. With each edition, the festival has established itself as a meeting point for a growing German chili community in Stuttgart, attracting visitors from all over the state of Baden-Württemberg.
Stand tastings, short raffles, and personal conversations with producers were integral parts of the event. Im Wizemann, with its industrial architecture, provided a fitting backdrop for an event that deliberately focuses on an urban niche rather than a provincial approach.
