The 9th edition of the TFFB Tanz & Folk Festival Berlin took place in early 2025 at WABE Prenzlauer Berg. Three days of workshops, concerts, and bals featuring Bal Folk bands from across Europe. The organizer was, as always, Spreefolk e.V. Festival passes and most day tickets were sold out.

The 9th edition of TFFB in 2025 confirmed its position as Germany's most important Bal Folk event. Three days of workshops and bals brought together dancers and bands from Germany and all over Europe at WABE. The repertoire ranged from French Bourrée to Swedish Polska and Balkan dances.

The growing Berlin and German Bal Folk scene is one of the most astonishing phenomena in the current folk world: intergenerational, queer-friendly, and internationally networked. TFFB brings it together annually in a festival that has long been sold out before it even begins.
