Overview

The 2025/26 season of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch began in September 2025 and, in its first half, included several pieces in Wuppertal as well as a multi-week tour of Asia in November: "Nelken" in Seoul and Sejong (South Korea), "Sweet Mambo" in Kyoto and Saitama (Japan).

The first half of the 2025/26 season (Autumn 2025 to Spring 2026) featured home performances at the Wuppertal Opera House and an intensive tour. A total of 81 performances with 12 productions are planned for the entire season — 39 of which are in Wuppertal and 42 as guest performances in 10 countries. Four new dancers from Great Britain, France, Puerto Rico, and the USA joined the international ensemble.
