Overview

The 35th TANZtage Duisburg 2025 once again gathered thousands of amateur dancers in the Ruhr area. Preliminary rounds at the Rheinhausen-Halle and finals at the Theater Duisburg formed the established format. The categories Jazz, Modern, Showdance, Streetdance, Hip-Hop, Stage Dance, and School Dance Contest ensured diversity — from children's groups to adult ensembles.

The 35th edition in 2025 once again confirmed the TANZtage's status as Germany's largest amateur dance festival. With over 5,000 participants, free competition entry, and a final weekend at the Theater Duisburg, the festival remained true to its accessible philosophy. The School Dance Contest brought numerous NRW school groups to the stage, fostering young dance talent.

Programme

Preliminary rounds in early March at the Rheinhausen-Halle, finals at the end of March at the Theater Duisburg. Six competition categories plus the School Dance Contest.
