Edition 2024 — Tanzfestival Saar
The fifth edition of the Tanzfestival Saar took place in March 2024 with companies from Germany, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands — a precursor to the expanded venue program in 2026.
In 2024, the festival definitively established itself as a must-attend event for the international dance scene in the greater region. The positive reception led to the expansion of venues in 2026 and the reappointment of the directing duo Celis/Kieser.
Programme
The 2024 program combined in-house productions by the Saarländisches Staatsballett with guest performances by international companies. Venues included Saarbrücken (Staatstheater, Alte Feuerwache, Sparte4) and Saarlouis (Theater am Ring).
