In 2025, the Stübbeken Village Community also invited to the annual 'Tanz in den Mai' in the village hall. A theatre performance by the amateur theatre group and the subsequent dance made the eve of May 1st a fixed date for village tradition in Letmathe-Stübbeken.

The 2025 edition of the Stübbeken 'Tanz in den Mai' continued the long-standing tradition. The Stübbeken amateur theatre group — one of the active village theatre troupes in the Sauerland — presented a new play, and afterwards, people danced late into the night.

Such village events are characteristic building blocks of traditional life in the Sauerland and Märkisches Land. They preserve customs like 'Tanz in den Mai' or amateur theatre while strengthening the village community — values that are still highly regarded in the Hochsauerland and Märkischer Kreis today.
