Edition 2025 — TAMIS

TAMIS 2025 took place as usual at the end of April and beginning of May in Saarbrücken — a festive week of Early Music with daily breakfast concerts in the Deutschherrnkapelle and grand evening concerts in the churches of the state capital.

The 2025 festival continued the long-standing TAMIS concept: daily breakfast concerts as an accessible low-threshold offering with free admission, main evening concerts as highlights, and the special Saturday 'With Music Through the Day'. The Fritz Neumeyer Academy, as the organizer, was able to present a program of works by Bach, Telemann, Buxtehude, and many other Baroque composers — performed by specialist ensembles on historical instruments.

Programme

The 2025 festival followed the classic TAMIS schedule: breakfast concerts daily at 9:30 AM in the Deutschherrnkapelle, main evening concerts in the Ludwigskirche, Schlosskirche, and other venues, on Saturday 'With Music Through the Day' with seven half-hour concerts spread across the city, and Sunday closing brunch concerts.
