Edition 2025 — Tage Alter Musik Herne

The 2025 edition of Tage Alter Musik in Herne traditionally took place in mid-November at the Kulturzentrum Herne — concerts by specialist ensembles for Historically Informed Performance from Europe, with live broadcast on WDR 3. It was the last edition under the artistic direction of Richard Lorber, who had shaped the festival for many years. The generational change to Katrin Paulsen was announced for 2026.

Tage Alter Musik 2025

The 2025 edition at the Kulturzentrum Herne offered four days of concerts with European Early Music ensembles — harpsichord recitals, vocal ensembles, chamber music on historical instruments, and lectures. Live broadcast on WDR 3 as since 1980. Last edition under Richard Lorber, before Katrin Paulsen takes over artistic direction in 2026.
