Overview
The 2025 edition took place on Sunday, May 4, on Peißnitzinsel and at Heine-Felsen under the motto "Jazz Picnic" — five hours of free open-air jazz and the kick-off for the Women in Jazz festival.
The 2025 edition again brought high-quality jazz to two stages — one on Peißnitzinsel, the other at Heine-Felsen above the Saale. Concerts from 2 PM to 7 PM, free admission, plus a family program and culinary offerings along the Saale promenade. The event once again attracted several thousand visitors and opened the Women in Jazz festival.
