Overview

The 2025 edition of the Swedish Christmas Bazaar in Berlin-Wilmersdorf took place from November 28 to 30, 2025, once again attracting around 12,000 visitors to Landhausstraße 26-28. Pytt i panna, marzipan cake, elk sausage, and Glögg were the culinary highlights as every year — the Lucia performances on Saturday and Sunday at 4 PM and 5 PM formed the liturgical peak. The Swedish Victoria Parish Berlin continued the tradition maintained since 1971 with this edition, which is one of Berlin's most charming Nordic Christmas markets.

The 2025 edition once again showcased the special appeal of the Swedish Christmas Bazaar: a relatively small market, located on a side street, attracts around 12,000 visitors annually — the queue at the entrance on opening day was observed and discussed as every year. Elk sausage, as always, sold out quickly, Glögg flowed continuously, and the Lucia performances with white dresses, candle wreaths, and children's choir created the Nordic-meditative atmosphere that makes the event unique. The Swedish Victoria Parish used the edition to build cultural bridges between its community of around 6,000 Swedes living in Berlin and the broader Berlin public.
