Surn-Hansen-Markt Perleberg

The Surn-Hansen-Markt 2025 took place again, as is tradition, in March on the Großer Markt in Perleberg. The opening was carried out jointly by the mayors of the two Prignitz towns. A resident from Halenbeck won the Knieperkohl competition with her submitted recipe.

Fresh Knieperkohl was offered at the stalls of Landfleischerei Hildebrandt and Neudorfer Fleischerei, alongside kale from the goulash cannon and traditional Knieperbrot. The market attracted regular visitors from all over the Prignitz and confirmed its status as one of the most important regional special markets in the event calendar of the town of Perleberg.
