Edition 2025 — Sommer- und Lichterfest Crottendorf
In 2025, the Summer and Light Festival also took place on the 2nd August weekend in Crottendorf Park. Three days of festival weekend with live music, dancing, sports competitions, a children's programme, and the traditional Festival of Lights in the evening, organised by the Faschingsgesellschaft CDF Crottendorf and other local clubs.
Summer and Light Festival 2025
In 2025, the Summer and Light Festival once again transformed Crottendorf Park into a festive backdrop on the 2nd August weekend. The Faschingsgesellschaft CDF Crottendorf organised the festival together with the other local clubs. The festival opened on Friday evening, Saturday featured sports competitions and a children's programme, the Festival of Lights illuminated the park on Saturday evening, and Sunday concluded with a morning pint (Frühschoppen). The blend of traditional village festival and magical Festival of Lights atmosphere makes it a fixed date in the summer calendar of the Ore Mountains region.
