Overview

In 2025, Summer in the City also took place over five Tuesday evenings at the Palmengarten. The series has established itself as a fixture in Frankfurt's summer program in recent years, attracting a multi-generational audience that appreciates the mix of curated concerts and the unique atmosphere of the Palmengarten.

The 2025 edition followed the established pass model and programmatic approach: one concert per Tuesday, international and German acts, semi-seated in front of the music pavilion. Organized by Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm in cooperation with Palmengarten and Journal Frankfurt.

Programme

Five Tuesday evening concerts featuring folk, pop, singer-songwriter, and electronic sounds. The program for the 2025 edition was curated following the same principle as 2026: one main act per evening, set in the Palmengarten's music pavilion.
