Edition 2025 — Suhler Volksfest
The Suhler Volksfest 2025 once again brought Volksfest atmosphere to the Suhl city center. Ten days of rides, game stalls, and food/drink on the Platz der Deutschen Einheit. The Lord Mayor's keg tapping opened the festival, Family Day on Wednesday offered reduced prices, and the fireworks finale on the last Saturday crowned the festival week. Thousands of visitors came from the Thuringian Forest, the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district, and Upper Franconia.
Suhler Volksfest 2025
The 2025 edition continued the annual festival tradition: showmen from several federal states set up their rides and stalls, and Suhl's gastronomy expanded its offerings. The three classic highlights — keg tapping at the opening, Family Day on Wednesday, and fireworks finale on the last Saturday — structured the festival period. For decades, the Volksfest has been one of the most important early summer events in the independent city of Suhl.
