Overview

The Stuttgarter Waldweihnacht 2025 took place on Friday, December 5th, and Saturday, December 6th, at the Haus des Waldes in Degerloch. Market stalls with forest products and culinary specialities, Christmas stories, craft workshops for children, choirs, and brass groups created a quiet, contemplative Advent atmosphere in Stuttgart's city forest. Free admission. A charming alternative to the large city Christmas markets.

Stuttgarter Waldweihnacht 2025

In December 2025, the Haus des Waldes in Stuttgart-Degerloch once again opened its doors for the Waldweihnacht — the contemplative Advent market in Stuttgart's city forest. Market stalls with regional forest products — honey, game products, wood crafts, pinecone decorations — and culinary offerings with mulled wine, punch, stick bread, and bratwurst made the two festive days an atmospheric experience in the forest.

Choirs and brass groups from Degerloch and Stuttgart's south accompanied the market with Advent music; Christmas stories were read aloud in the Haus des Waldes, and there were craft workshops with natural materials for children. An established tradition for Stuttgart residents seeking peace and nature during Advent — a tradition that returns again in 2026 on December 4th and 5th.
