Overview

Stuttgart PRIDE 2025 took place in July with the classic three components: two weeks of cultural events, a three-day CSD-Hocketse on Markt- and Schillerplatz, and a CSD demonstration through the city center. Thousands of demonstrators and visitors came together from Stuttgart, the region, and all of Southern Germany to stand visibly for queer rights.

2025 — Tradition Continues

The 2025 edition confirmed Stuttgart PRIDE's position as the largest queer festival in Baden-Württemberg. The demonstration once again drew tens of thousands of people through Königstraße — Pride flags, trucks from associations and parties, samba bands, and political demands characterized the scene.

The Hocketse on Markt- and Schillerplatz was once again packed, with the Open-Air-Disco on the DJ booth drawing crowds late into the night. The cultural weeks, featuring readings, films, and workshops, took place at over 20 venues across the city — from Theater am Faden to Renitenztheater. IG CSD Stuttgart announced a more politically focused motto for 2026, addressing the discourse on setbacks and stigmatization.
