Overview

The Stuttgart Christmas Market 2025 attracted around 3.5 million visitors, once again drawing one of Europe's largest Christmas crowds to the city center. For four weeks, 250 stalls were spread across Schlossplatz, Marktplatz, Schillerplatz, and Karlsplatz, the Ferris wheel and fairy tale village delighted families, and the concerts in the courtyard of the Old Castle enchanted thousands daily.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition, from November 26 to December 23, confirmed the Stuttgart Christmas Market as one of the largest and most visited Christmas markets in Europe. Around 3.5 million visitors flocked to the city center, strolled through the festively lit alleys between Schlossplatz, Marktplatz, and Schillerplatz, rode the Ferris wheel, listened to the tower brass players of the Collegiate Church and the concerts in the courtyard of the Old Castle. The fairy tale village with its carousels and visits from St. Nicholas was a family meeting point, and the Glanzlichter light installations brought the city center into the Advent spirit. Mulled wine, chestnuts, cinnamon stars, gingerbread, and Swabian specialties from 250 stalls characterized the culinary scene — as they have for over three centuries.
