Edition 2025 — Strehla Kite Festival
The 16th Strehla Kite Festival took place in September 2025 on the Elbe meadows. Kite flyers and kite artists from Saxony took advantage of the autumn wind, while families from the region came for an outing by the Elbe.
The 16th edition followed the proven concept: kite flying from the afternoon, trick demonstrations by kite artists, ferry service, and snack stalls on the Elbe meadows. The weather cooperated — the reliable wind, typical for the festival, made for a successful day.
