Overview
The Straubing Pilgrimage to Altötting in 2025 took place at Pentecost from June 6 to 8. Departure was on Pentecost Friday at 11:00 PM with a send-off at Straubing's Ludwigsplatz. Via the usual rest stops and with an overnight stay in Eggenfelden, the pilgrims reached the shrine of grace in Altötting – accompanied by the Malteser Hilfsdienst Straubing.
The 2025 Pentecost Pilgrimage began on Friday, June 6, at 11:00 PM at Ludwigsplatz in Straubing. As every year, the pilgrimage was guided by a spiritual theme and was understood as a path of hope.
Via the rest stops Landau, Malgersdorf, Falkenberg, and Reischach with an overnight stay in Eggenfelden, the pilgrims reached the shrine of grace in Altötting. The Malteser Hilfsdienst Straubing accompanied the pilgrimage with volunteers and a doctor and provided medical care at all rest stops.
