In 2025, the Stralsund Pottery Market once again gathered ceramic artists in the Old Market of the Hanseatic city. With traditional house and garden ceramics, porcelain jewelry, and artistic vessels, as well as demonstrations at the potter's wheel, the market attracted ceramics enthusiasts to the historic old town – with free admission.
The Stralsund Pottery Market is one of the Hanseatic city's regular event highlights. In 2025, it once again transformed the Old Market in the historic center into a stage for pottery art for a weekend.
At the stalls, the offerings ranged from traditional house and garden ceramics to functional pottery and porcelain jewelry, bowls, and vases. Demonstrations of traditional pottery techniques at the foot-powered potter's wheel made the craft tangible. Admission was free. The event led up to the 18th edition in 2026.
