The Storchenfest Rühstädt 2025 took place on July 26, 2025, on the festival meadow at the visitor center. As every year, the European Stork Village celebrated its white stork population with guided tours, a stage program, cake, and a football tournament.

The Storchenfest 2025 in Rühstädt followed the traditional format: football tournament on the eve, stork guided tours through the village, stage program on the festival meadow, and an opulent cake buffet by the village community. The festival laid the groundwork for the grand double anniversary in 2026 with the Meeting of European Stork Villages and 100 years of the Volunteer Fire Brigade.
