On the first weekend of August 2025, Gerswalde celebrated its Stoppelmarkt according to old customs. As every year, the festive parade marched across the market square on Saturday afternoon, the harvest crown was handed over to the mayor, and the live music in the evening kept the tradition alive. Preparations for 2026 began immediately after the festival ended.
