The 1,010th Stiepeler Fliegenkirmes took place at the end of September 2025 around the Stiepel village church — with traditional beer tapping, pedigree poultry exhibition, and closing fireworks. Four days of Volksfest in thousand-year-old tradition.

Fliegenkirmes 2025 — 1,010th Edition

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the unbroken tradition of the Stiepeler Fliegenkirmes. With over 1,000 years of history, it ranks among the oldest Kirmes festivals in Germany. Beer tapping on Saturday, pedigree poultry exhibition by the Phönix Stiepel association, and a family day with closing fireworks on Monday — the established cornerstones of the festival were carried out in their proven form, preparing for the anniversary edition in 2026.
