Overview

The Stechlin Summer Concerts 2025 took place from July to August with concerts in the churches of Menz and Neuglobsow, as well as the Stechlinsee-Center. Classical, chamber music, organ, and baroque characterized the program. The highlight was the concert held as part of the Stechlinseefest in Neuglobsow. The "Musik an der Tonstraße" format concluded the summer concert series in mid-August. Despite changeable weather, the churches were well-attended — the intimate acoustics and the natural setting by Lake Stechlin are the charm of this series.

In the summer of 2025, the Stechlin Summer Concerts once again brought chamber music to the small churches around Lake Stechlin. The opening concert at Menz Church was already well-attended — classical music in a rural brick church, which works even without star soloists thanks to the special atmosphere of the venues.

Over the approximately seven weeks, chamber music, organ, and baroque formats were spread out. The concert as part of the Stechlinseefest at the end of July combined music and a public festival (Volksfest) in an unusual combination, and the finale by the "Musik an der Tonstraße" format in mid-August continued the tradition of the festival of the same name. The concerts were generally well-attended — and confirmed the Stechlin Summer Concerts as a fixture in Brandenburg's summer classical music scene.
