Overview

The 2025 edition of Stearman & Friends ran from July 4th to 6th, 2025, at Bienenfarm Airfield. Three days of displays featuring Boeing Stearman, T-6 Harvard, Bell UH-1, and Twin Bonanza, plus Stearman scenic flights, parachute jumps, and an exhibition of historic US vehicles. Several thousand aviation fans from Berlin, Brandenburg, and Northern Germany came to the Havelland region.

The 2025 festival took place over all three days with stable summer weather. The first participant aircraft arrived on Friday afternoon, the sound of radial engines accompanying their approaches. The Saturday display blocks — featuring Boeing Stearman in formation, T-6 Harvard, and Bell UH-1 in the air — drew the largest crowds.

Sunday's staggered departures concluded the festival. The Stearman scenic flights were fully booked as usual, well in advance — waiting lists formed on-site. On Saturday evening, the campfire brought together pilots and spotters from Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands, and Great Britain.
