Overview

The 17th Staufer Spektakel Waiblingen took place at the end of June 2025 at Brühlwiese and Talaue. Three days of medieval festival with camp life, show fights, fire shows, catapult, and around 80 market stalls for leather, wood, and metal ran parallel to Waiblingen's Altstadtfest. Free admission.

17th Staufer Spektakel 2025

As every year, the 2025 Staufer Spektakel transformed Waiblingen's Brühlwiese and Talaue into a medieval stage for three days. Vikings and knights, show fights and fire shows, catapults and markets characterized the days.

The festival has been running for almost two decades and is closely integrated with Waiblingen's Altstadtfest. The concept of free admission attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually from the greater Stuttgart area and the Remstal valley. The high-quality selection of market stalls — handmade leather goods, forged swords, and goldsmith work — distinguishes the spectacle from mass-market events.
