Edition 2025 — Lübeck Marathon
The 2025 Stadtwerke Lübeck Marathon once again brought over 4,000 runners from 20 nations to the start line. The medieval old town of the Hanseatic city served as the backdrop and route — a classic of the Northern German running scene in autumn.
In October 2025, the 22nd edition of the Lübeck Marathon took place. Start at Kohlmarkt at 9:30 AM, the five distances were started simultaneously, the marathon field headed out to Travemünde and back around the lighthouse. Main sponsors and the city of Lübeck once again reported a positive outcome — the marathon remains one of Schleswig-Holstein's most important sporting events.
