Edition 2025 — Stadtfest Thalheim
In 2025, Thalheim/Erzgebirge celebrated its 100th town charter anniversary with a multi-day festival week from June 19th to 29th. Highlights included the second edition of the Thalheim Highland Games (June 21st), live performances by Erzgebirge Aue and Stereoact, among others, a grand parade, and a rich program of clubs.
100 Years of Town Rights — Festival Week 2025
From June 19th to 29th, 2025, Thalheim celebrated its town anniversary in grand style — 100 years since being granted town rights. An entire festival week with live music (Stereoact, Erzgebirge Aue as main sponsor), Highland Games (second edition — tug-of-war, log throwing, stone lifting on June 21st on the artificial turf field), a parade, exhibitions, club activities, and a packed family program marked the anniversary. The 2025 town festival was thus exceptionally large compared to the regular annual festivals — a unique opportunity for the Drei-Tannen-Stadt in the Erzgebirgskreis district to celebrate itself and to invite guests from the region in a special way.
