Overview
The 28th edition of the Stadtfest Hoyerswerda took place in September 2025 — three days of live entertainment on the main stage, the HOYWOJ CityLAUF, a street theater festival, the HoykiWojki Children's Town, and the traditional fireworks on Sunday evening. Thousands of visitors from across the Lausitz region and beyond filled Lausitzer Platz and the surrounding streets.
Stadtfest 2025 — 28th Edition
In 2025, the Stadtfest Hoyerswerda once again brought the largest open-air event in the Lausitz region to Lausitzer Platz and the surrounding streets of Hoyerswerda's Neustadt. Three days of live entertainment, an international street theater festival, the HOYWOJ CityLAUF, and the HoykiWojki Children's Town attracted a cross-generational audience. The connection to the region's Sorbian identity was once again evident in the bilingual program and performances by Sorbian associations.
