In 2025, the Stadtfest Calau also took place, traditionally on the third weekend of August. With live music, the local history museum, and church tower climbs — a festive day of Niederlausitz identity.
The Stadtfest Calau is one of the firmly established folk festivals (Volksfeste) in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district. The combination of a stage, the local history museum, and the playful church tower climb makes it an unusually varied small city festival.
