The St. Joseph Community Festival 2025 took place on Pentecost Sunday, June 8, around the church at In der Geist 1 in Lünen-Geist. After the festive High Mass, the parish celebrated its traditional summer festival with food, cake, drinks, and a family program. The proceeds went to community projects.

In 2025, the St. Joseph parish in the Lünen Pastoral Area also invited to the annual Pentecost community festival. On June 8 — Pentecost Sunday — the communal parish festival took place around the church after the festive High Mass.

The program included the usual elements: stalls with food and drinks, a cake buffet contributed by parish members, a family program and games for children, and musical contributions. Proceeds from donations and consumption went to ongoing community projects. Pentecost as a church festival and the community festival as a social activity have formed a well-established dual format at St. Joseph for years.
