Overview
In 2025, the St. John's Choir Rostock and its ensembles continued to shape the sacred concert life of the Hanseatic city. Throughout the year, passions, oratorios, and choral concerts were performed in Rostock's churches, complemented by the traditional summer tour through Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
In 2025, the St. John's Choir Rostock offered a rich concert program. The Motet Choir, Figural Choir, Choral Choir, and Kurrende presented concerts of sacred choral music throughout the year in St. Nicholas' Church, St. John's Church, and other venues.
As every year, the choir went on tour in the summer, bringing its music to the villages and small towns of the region. The concerts affirmed the choir's status as one of the central church music institutions of the Hanseatic city.
