Overview

In 2025, the St. Jakobi-Kirchweih once again transformed the market town of Küps into a summer festival mile. The antique and flea market around the town hall, classic Kirchweih catering in the festival tent, and the familiar Upper Franconian folk festival scene characterized the Sunday in the Frankenwald foothills.

The "Warm Kerwa" 2025 in Küps seamlessly continued the long-standing tradition of the summer Kirchweih. The antique and flea market around the town hall attracted collectors from the entire Kronach district and beyond, while the festival tent with Upper Franconian catering and live music provided the familiar Kerwa atmosphere.

With the patronage of St. James' Church, the Warm Kerwa is firmly anchored in both the liturgical and secular festival calendar – a date that brings visitors from the wider region to Küps year after year.
