Edition 2025 — St. Guntherfest

The 70th edition of the St. Guntherfest took place at the end of June 2025 in Rinchnach. Four festival days with the Falter marquee, folk music, Lower Bavarian festival cuisine, and the traditional Coachmen Memorial Ride on Sunday with around 50 horse-drawn carriages – the Volksfest and Heimatfest of the monastery village in the Bavarian Forest.

With its 70th edition, the St. Guntherfest celebrated an anniversary in 2025. Falter Brewery, the municipality of Rinchnach, and local associations organised the festival on the last weekend of June, featuring a marquee, live music, festival cuisine, and the Coachmen Memorial Ride on Sunday.

The St. Guntherfest is one of the most famous Heimatfeste in the Bavarian Forest and honours the founding year of Rinchnach Monastery (1011) by the monk Gunther of Niederaltaich every year.
