The Spring Awakening 2025 took place at the end of April with a guided ADFC bike tour through Bornheim and 8 stops at fruit farmers, beekeepers, art studios, and organic farms — season opening of the Bornheim asparagus season.

The 2025 edition confirmed the concept as a popular spring classic in the Vorgebirge between Bonn and Cologne. Families, ADFC activists, and gourmet tourists experienced a day of agriculture, art, and culinary delights.
