Overview

The 2025 Spielbudenfestival, in its 5th edition, took place at the end of July on Spielbudenplatz. Three days of international street art — acrobatics, comedy, fire shows, magic, mechanical curiosities —, with a family day on Sunday, continuously free admission. The Corny Littmann Foundation organized it again.

The 2025 edition confirmed the concept: international street art in the Hamburg Kiez tradition. Acrobatic high-wire acts, solo comedy performances, fire shows at nightfall, and mechanical curiosities — the program spanned from midday to after midnight.

As in previous years, Sunday was designed as Family Day, with a program tailored to a younger audience and interactive activities. Free admission remained the festival's political statement.
