Edition 2025 — Special Olympics St. Wendel
No Special Olympics National Games took place in 2025 — the Games are held every two years. In 2024, the Games were in Berlin (World Games), followed by the National Games in Saarland in 2026.
The Special Olympics National Games are held on a biennial basis. In 2025, preparations for the Saarland edition were the focus. Preparation workshops, volunteer recruitment, venue preparation, and the campaign concept "Dabeisein ist Saarland!" were underway in Saarland.
