Edition 2025 — SAARathon
The Sparkassen-SAARathon 2025 took place in October 2025 in Saarbrücken. Classic range of distances including Marathon, Half Marathon, 10-km Westspangenlauf, 5-km Run, and Kids Run. Saarland Marathon Championships as part of the main race.
As every year, ambitious runners from Saarland and the greater region took advantage of the fast course along the Saar. Over 2,000 participants across all distances, start and finish in the Kulturbiergarten St. Arnual, perfect autumn weather — the 37th edition of the Westspangenlauf as the core of the event.
Programme
2025 Program: Start package collection on Saturday, race day on Sunday with the five distances, Saarland Marathon Championships, award ceremonies in the afternoon. Course as always along the Saar with start and finish at Kulturbiergarten St. Arnual.
